Ya, my anxiety loves to invent new ways to freak me out and its been having a field day since this pandemic has started kicking into high gear. As someone who works in the biotech industry I will say everything that is told here is not a hard and fast rule. Many drugs get approved with only a Ph1/2 combined study and never having to do a Ph3.

What you described is just a general outline. What the FDA is looking for in order to approve a drug/vaccine/anything…
