This. I don’t get the flu shot for me, I get it for the sake of the senior citizens that I see all the time in my volunteer work (and who are sometimes fellow volunteers, too). I also share an apartment building with many tenants over 65 years old.

Also I work 50-60 hour weeks in a high level, crisis-heavy job. My husband and I do most of that shit ourselves except for the stupid math tutoring.

This. I have coworkers who yearly proclaim “I never get a flu shot and have never had it!” That’s great for them, they’ve been lucky. If/when their luck runs out they’ll likely spread it to friends, family, loved ones, and even strangers they come into close contact with BEFORE they feel so ill that they quarantine…

Based on this job posting, you know the CEO wife is a fucking nightmare to work for, whether at the office or at home.

A previously healthy 34 year old just died in Dallas from the flu. Get your flu shot. Hell, go to Target and get a $5 gift card for getting your flu shot. You get paid to lower the risk of you getting at best a pretty awful virus and at its worst you can die.

Where I work Crunch is treated exactly as that, failure on the part of management, and that’s who sees repercussions for crunch. Because of this, crunch almost never happens, because crunch means managers losing jobs. Crunch is wasted money in more than one way.
