yeah, I pretty much say don't ever talk about personal finances unless it is with your spouse or your accountant. It really is vulgar and inappropriate. Also it can be dangerous too. You might look like a risky candidate if you have serious money problems.
That is really a shame, sorry to hear about it.
If you'll be my bodyguard, you can be my long lost pal...
it keeps you alive :)
eating out so much, sigh, that's where my money goes.
I don't think I'd use Bill Murray as an example of successful person. He is a talented actor sure, but that's not necessarily what I'd call the measure of accomplishment.
I seem to collect lots of toys that have only been played with once, clothes that have been outgrown, CDs no longer listened to etc in my basement. Not a very unique hobby though :)
That's pretty bad. my wedding + engagment ring didn't even cost that much. Even if you throw the honeymoon in, its still less.
awesome! My kids keep breaking the bugzooka, so this looks like a good alternative.
Sorry, I have to take issue with this. I can see on the one hand that you are improving your satisfaction with your house and potentially getting rid of PMI.
well that is a worthwhile tradeoff. Thanks!
Thanks. This was an article I was looking forward to. Fascinating to get some insight. Thought that picture of the late night work station is rather alarming.
of course not. the energy comes from whatever, its the wind company that gets paid. In theory though you are deriving it.
if you had enough solar panels on your house?
don't be too cynical. at least electric cars have the potential to be charged from renewable sources.
haha, nice!
I don't want to be too mean. But some of us are productive, and some write comments to lifehacker articles :) Just saying please make good picks, some of us try to glean ideas here.
this is one of my favorite columns though. is there anything we can do to encourage a Wednesday post every time?
