hello all. I have another topic I'd like to discuss. I've been thinking of building a portable working desk to do electronics stuff with. It can be a little large and weigh up to 30 lbs so long as I can fold it up. I want something that I have little drawers in for electronic components. thoughts? suggestions?

I saw the internet wishlist. I like the idea, but not the execution. Are there any better options that make easier to submit and easier to vote on? You can't even see all the ideas.

Auto payments are useful, but you just can't be too lazy. You need to monitor things somehow, or you are going to be in trouble. There's no getting around that.

well, you just need to be more fun then. You can hire a guitarist to play in the bathroom. Or you can call an audible and do a flush for audio privacy.

nice

I'm dying to know what other is. Implanted jacks anyone??

It was outside the bathroom if I recall correctly. And to your second, question why or why not? seriously, we're talking about a mind that put a ceiling speaker in the bathroom. that is a creativity all of its own :)

nice, can we some runner ups and honorable mentions? My favorite hack that I witnessed in my day-to-day existence, was a ceiling mounted speaker in a home bathroom controlled by a switch outside so you could listen to music or not.

Good point. My company embraced the QR code approach as well, which I like.

but that's not the point.

One key factor is how much info you share, or what kind of info you share. If it is just crap, then who cares?

Do I detect snark? :)

Yeah, I'm kinda curious myself.

That makes sense. Sadly for me, there is just no need for any of this.

hahah, nice! have you ever one won though? I thought you only got free spam from that.

Good idea, but as far as I'm concerned, business cards are a perk that I never get to use. I've honestly never given out one ever. Is my experience atypical as a developer, or should I be doing something different?

I like it. As disheartening as it may sound, success means getting up after failing. Just no one talks about the failure part. One thing I like about the Hershey Museum/chocolate world (besides chocolate) is that they go into depth about Milton Hershey's failures as well.

haha nice!

do they really help? wouldn't a sleep study be better?

good article and very true. But like others said, there is something to be said for going for low hanging fruit to build up your confidence and energy enough to do the important stuff.
