I think Adam voting out Figgy is the only thing stopping this from turning into the pathetic whitewash that was Survivor Australia. Great if youre on the winning tribe, but it made for such boring TV.

Dan and the Captain's fight on Deadwood that ends with an eye-plucking has to be pretty up there.

I feel given the theme of the season, he should have known the tribes wouldnt have stayed the same for very long. It's in the interest of the show to mix it up - thus I see the use of the idol as a waste.

As an Australian, I'm so embarrassed by this blatant copyright infringement. We have to sit through all those "you wouldnt steal a car" ads and yet the only export we can muster up is a carbon copy of Archer. Hang your head in shame, Sitch.

Im pretty sure A24 are the only ones making original content films anymore.

Definitely big Louie vibes. I'm pretty sure the scene in the jail where Earn sat between the two ex-lovers was from an old Louie script.

For the record, I loved it. But as an Australian, I viewed the film as a critique of the GTA lifestyle that pervades our younger generation, which, though not exclusive to America, America does seem to be the pinnacle. I would definitely put it Top 100. But everyone thinks my country is a Thunderdome replica, so you

Some of it's weirdly out of date isnt it? Like, not properly aged stuff, just things like that Janelle Monae song from 5 years ago, and Edward Sharpe's megahit from 5 years ago. Is this stuff only making it through to the White House now?

I would say The Witch, The Lobster and The Nice Guys (it was just so fun!) are stand outs for me.

Black Market is showing some potential, and I also wouldnt say Noisey is without merit - if you're into that sort of music. The Chicago stuff, and even Jamaica had some eye-opening moments. But definitely agree Gaycation was the standout.

Cliff Martinez** is the Chili Peppers drummer turned composer.

I would wager a bet the 6.7 figure is global - which of course the Game of Thrones figure is not. And 6.7 on a global level, isnt really that outstanding.

Killer Joe and Mud were soooo good. I miss those days.

I liked that they showed what actually happens when people run at each other. It wasn't a nice ride by - everyone and their horses got real fucked.

"King Kunta" - Kendrick
"Breezeblocks" - Alt J
"Retrograde" - James Blake
"Pyramids" - Frank Ocean
"Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" - Tame Impala

I saw Alice Cooper buying shoes for himself in a shoe store, like the rest of us commoners. Rock and Roll is dead, tell your friends.

I miss Southland.

I read that much of it takes place in Hong Kong, which will definitely change the vibe. However, they are avoiding a pet peeve of mine which is when they have 20 murders in a town of 500 just to satisfy the needs of a TV show. Realism, people.

It really is spectacular how it falls. It was so unique in the build up, then settled for less.

I didnt realize how much I missed him.
