Took my Model 3 in after Christmas for some warranty stuff. It was the first time the service advisor had done something that’s standard for my other cars when they go to the dealer for service. She asked if I’d be willing to trade it in. I was offered a pretty steep discount on a new car. They had cars ready to

While actual results matter, in publicly traded companies it matters more how it compares to projected results. Don’t say 50 and then fall far short. At some point it’s actually illegal if investors can prove it was a lie.

Beautiful car - but from this angle and with those wheels, it looks like a 2-door Tesla Model S (not necessarily a bad thing, as that’s the best Tesla).

Yeah, that’s one’s on us...

6-6' for the current owner is way above the 95th Percentile as stated by the chart who should know better when buying cars that fit.

excellent point about not waking the neighbors. One street over is a guy w/a Roush Mustang and i want to bash his windshield in every time he starts the fucking thing at 5am. He must have some control over his exhaust because its not always that loud but when its loud its insanely loud. If i lived next to him i would

I have a sharkwerks exhaust on my 991 and I thought it was great because it makes it sound nicer in the car but no drone and not too loud..... until my buddy took it out of my driveway and holy shit I didnt know I was that guy on the street and I immediately felt like an asshole, so my point is I totally get the

The Artura starts and drives away on electric power and depending on mode, the ICE starts up but idles while the car continues in electric power, cutting in once engine temp is up. The nerd in me loves that.

I miss the big American coupes like the Buick Riviera, Olds Toronado, Thunderbird and Lincoln Mark VII LSC.

It’s more of a Shelbyville idea.

If only there was a way of knowing that this boring company project was a scam.

This seems like it would be a much better daily driver than a regular one. No worrying about speedbumps and steep angled driveways and potholes.

I don’t mind Spike when he’s on another podcast (like TST) but the more I hear him, the more entitled and disconnected he seems. Dude’s a multi-multi millionaire, and that’s fine, but the way he talks about cars means you never forget it. He’s also not that knowledgeable outside of Porsches and high value

Now playing

Wow, you put shitty Spike on there but didn’t include Carmudgeon?

Rockenfeller said he thinks this car is about ten seconds faster than the existing Nascar stuff already so mmight be closer than we think already

I remember reading a story years ago about a guy that had Harry Gant’s old car in vintage racing at Daytona. Slow as hell in the corners, fast as hell on the straights. Nascar cars are low drag, even the ones setup for short tracks.

i think you’re right. i think a muted dark silver or grey would work. let the shape do the heavy lifting and not throw color on top of it.

Alpine A110, without doubt.

This is the kind of car I think I want. It’s ironically cool. But I’m sure actually driving and owning it sucks.

Once car prices come back down to “normal” I will be in the market for one of these used.  The inside is beautiful and the comfort is top notch.  It would go perfect with the F-Type I already own.
