I just wish they hadn’t so heavily diverged from the classic shape. The final gen was an entirely different car.

Apparently that’s what happened with Mario Andretti in an F1 car. The announcers at this event were telling a story about it at an F1 event in Florida. It seems he was supposed to only be out for 3 laps, took 2 warming up and despite the board out telling him to come in, he stayed out for lap after lap. I think…
There are many good candidates which I am sure are going to be nominated, so why not go with one of the originals? The Lancia V6 engine.
Wrong. Tractor should not have been on the track until 1/ ALL cars are in single file behind the safety car and 2/ or they are all stopped in the pit lane. Beside, the tractor (or track workers) can only get ON the track after the instructions of the race director.

Is it fast enough to be a good getaway car? And, if so, can you meet me outside the bank in a couple of minutes? I can chip in for gas.
There was a guy in Gary, IN that modified these back in the mid-80s. It was mostly accessories such as fancy wire wheels, aero package and European flush headlights, but one of the options was a Getrag 5-speed manual.
Well, if this list isn’t just a little microcosm of our entire culture. Half the submissions shit on anybody who doesn’t like the same things they do, and the other half just wants to let people enjoy things.
This “built not bought” shit. Don’t get me wrong, backyard skills and DIY is awesome. And everyone should learn a little maintenance knowledge at a minimum. But this notion that paying someone to do the job correctly makes you less of an enthusiast or even worse, a lesser person, needs to go away. If it’s money that…
Brand loyalty. Rather than be happy to be around fellow enthusiasts, they tear each other down for the vehicle not having the right badge (as they see it).
