Indeed I think Enzo Ferrari described Pironi as the true 1982 world champion.

The Ferrari 812 Superfast. I was involved with a group test of front engine V12 Ferrari’s over the years for the now defunct Enzo magazine a few years back. When we were driving back to the hotel in the evening it was bitterly cold and the 800hp Superfast was struggling to stay with the 500ish hp Ferrari 550 as it

Terminal 2 (actually the newest as they rebuilt it) and 5 are fine but terminal 3 is hell on earth.

Yeah my ex step father was an airline pilot used to say that he had heard of this situation happening a few times, and pilots were well trained in single crew member landings anyway. What I suppose unusual in this situation is the passenger/ pilot was from a different airline.

Now playing

Plot twist it turns out the Jaaag was the insider on the whole con.

This is a cool car but too expensive for what it is and the miles. ND at the current ask.

Would need to inspect as most of these seem to be pretty rusty these days but based on the pictures NP.

Agreed although it is a bit colour dependent (it looks terrible in Rosso Corsa but fantastic in Grigio alloy) and needs the optional larger wheels to really work.

Well I have BRG F Type as a daily, it shares a garage with my wife’s Mazda CX-5 so we’re close.

In the UK the BMW E36 3 series. It was the car that made so called premium cars mainstream.

If you are referring to the Yamaha V8 yes it was.

They could have built a true sports car like the Corvette or Cobra, or even a semi-exotic in conjunction with a European partner to take advantage of the power potential of the Hemi, but never did.

Jaguar F Type. $35,000 probably won’t get you a manual (unless it has big miles on it) but will get you an early v8 example

Technically BMW doesn’t build these either. Production of both cars is outsourced to Magna Steyr in Austria.

I wonder if part of the jump for the FL5 is that it is the only one not built in the UK . Honda closed their Swindon factory and relocated Civic hatch production back to Japan.

We brought one for 100gbp for a banger rally. Drove it from London to Rome through the Alps, had a lot of fun with it. Scrapped it and flew home.

The Roma starts art $222,620 and I suppose should now be considered the entry level Ferrari. I guess the 296 is much closer in concept to the Z06 than the Roma is but cross shopping can get a bit weird at this price point.

Pretty sure the guys buying Singers already have a high-end Porsche or 3 anyway.

Indeed the reason given by for the gap is the need / choice to sea freight the cars from Europe to America. Air freight would be quicker but also far more costly for a series that is probably pretty budget constrained anyway.

The 365GTC/4 is generally considered to be one of the best vintage era ferraris’ to drive. My late father certainly thought so he owned three different ones over the years. Of all the vintage Ferraris he owned he put way more miles on these than the others.
