Indeed as stated by Chris Harris in new Top Gear (latest season in the UK) buying a new EV right now is a bit like buying a PC in the 90's it feels like it is going to be obsolete in 6 months. That is of course if the updated battery tech is not retrofittable.

I suspect that this is a in general ND but due to the rarity and desirability of the SPG model it is a NP to serious Saab enthusiasts.

Hagerty’s price guides can probably do that.

Living in the UK the default choice I always say for anyone looking for a simple white goods car is a Ford Focus. Their cheap to run and have a huge dealer network, and are quite good to drive. My friend brought one on that recommendation and it was nothing but trouble. Multiple visits to a dealer could not solve an

Been idly researching these lately partly for nostalgia reasons as one my Dad had new was the first car I ever drove with a V8 engine. This one seems NP enough to inspect at least although the colour is a bit meh. Seems to me that the originally cheaper SC300 is now more the more desirable version I guess because of

I’ve seen ones in worse condition sell for more than this. Easy NP although probably only the start of the bills.

Obviously wasn’t there but from the pictures it looks more like the Goodwood Members Meeting rather than the festival of Speed. Not that that is a bad thing as the Members Meeting is IMO by far the best of the three Goodwood signature motorsport events.

Ferrari’s head of marketing.

The now sadly defunct F1 racing magazine did a feature some years ago on a what if F1 team had complete freedom. Williams did the most detailed proposal. It would have had six wheels four driven at the back full ground effect aerodynamics and the 3.0 V10 engines of the early 2000's (article was before the current

Noted by the stewards. My point is the article seems to combine the roles of Masi and the stewards when they are two separate things. In part this is the FIA’s fault as Masi effectively also acts as the FIA’s spokesperson in these incidents when perhaps it would be better if there is a Stewards spokesperson.

The article has a misunderstanding of Michael Masi’s role. Masi is the race director he is NOT a steward. As the race director he can refer incidents to the stewards to investigate but it is up to them not him to decide if a punishment is required.

You could well be right, but the market for these high end cars is seldom rationale so well see.

I suspect the cars themselves are no more or less reliable than each other. However Ferrari and Porsche have much more evolved aftermarket support but directly and independents which probably mean they are easier to get fixed.

From what I understand the key issue with the value of a Mclaren P1 is the condition of the battery pack. The cars came with a complicated battery tender, which if for whatever reason the power to it is interrupted it has to be reset. Not a huge issue on most cars but as P1's tend to sit around in garages for a long

It’s handsome in a slightly bland way but then so were most versions of the original Integra without the Type R/S addenda. Sure the after market will take care of most things from a looks performance point of view.

I love Brands Hatch but the facilities are no where near current F1 standards, and sure if it could even get the necessary upgrades done  to bring it up to those standards would ruin the character of the circuit.

Chances of this actually happening are pretty close to zero.

My guess is the lowish bollards and ramped are partially obscured from the (Right hand) driver’s view on approach and they are finding it difficult to judge the separation needed as they are focussing on avoiding the bollards on the right.

Agree, my friend has one it isn’t that well packaged either with only 4 seats and not the five minimum you would expect from a car of that size. Drives well though.

Agree the C7 is better asthetically than the C8. Having said that the Z06 does address two of my gripes with the C8 in the front fascia and the side intake shape. Also I prefer the convertible to the coupe but a Z06 convertible seems a bit odd combination.
