I think it looks more interesting in Skyline form. Not necessarily better but more interesting

I suspect partly it has alwasy been 10 years away because there has not been the consumer interest in anything other than gas/ diesel cars / trucks until the last 5 -6 years.

The part in the movie is relatively small but the car casting of the Jaguar XJ-S in Only Lovers Left Alive is perfect.

Hulkenburg the F1 driver with the distinction of the most number of races without scoring a podium compared with Stroll who has had three podiums and a pole position in his career already. I would say it is a bit of a toss up as to who might do the better job.

1st Gear; Clearly Amazon’s support didn’t extend to giving Rivian Amazon Prime of they have supply chain issues (joke).

Low mileage time capsule but otherwise ordinary cars are weird. This is ND for me and I suspect 99% of buyers but I can see there being a collector of werid forgotten captive imports paying this amount for it.

1st Gear The headline for the article and the banner strap line is misleading as Aston Martin the makers of the road cars does not own the F1 team. The F1 team is effectively owned by Laurence Stroll separately and the road car company pays a sponsorship to the F1 to apply the name and branding to the car.

In the UK at least the GTR is broadly in line with the 911 price wise. Base GTR is a few thousand more than the base 911, the Nismo version however is £20k more than a Turbo S (before options), and significantly more than the GT3 (if you can even get one of those).

I think the point is they are not looking to attract new teams anymore, but are happy with a 10 team 20 car grid. The addition of HRT/ Manor/ Caterham in the early 2010's was not considered a great sucess for F1 with all three teams folding within 5 years and a grand total of two points scored between them.

Compared with similar mileage M5's on BaT the asking price is not unreasonable. Ad could do with some better pictures but certainly NP enough to inspect if local.

I think F1 now asks for a $200 million downpayment for any new team wanting to enter F1, which makes any new expansion team unlikely. It would still be cheaper to pay Gene Haas $150m for Haas even if you were going to use nothing of the existing team infrastruture.

Considering the current market for older classic cars this is probably NP but it is just not my Thing.

I like green too, My wife is from there and she is addicted to it, whenever we go back to NM (like last month) she has it on EVERY meal.

As you noted in the disclaimer that Polestar fed you while in Santa Fe, Red, Green or Christmas?

Putting the title issues aside it’s a rare but not super desirable model (it’s basically a Bentley Turbo R with a Rolls Royce grille and slightly squishier suspension) in seemingly nice condition. Even though I don’t like the colour it looks like it is worth the asking price.

Wheels look like they have the wrong offset, engine bay looks a mess. This doesn’t look to offer much over buying a new factory Five compenent kit ($20k per their website) and starting from scratch? ND

Interesting, with the budget cap, having to design/ test etc two different air boxes must have a cost implication.

I know Renault / Nissan are currently in marriage counselling but I do wonder if there was any consideration to bring a reskinned A110 to the US as a Nissan (as a Mid 4 or a Mid Z)? I guess it would be quite expesnive to crash test and homologate the engine neither of which are currently type approved in the US.

One point no one has mentioned in all of this is Russell is some 12cm (4.7 inches) taller than Hamilton. When he drove the Mercedes at Sakhir last year he was not comfortable and had to modify his boots to be able to work the pedals. That he did so well is a testament to his ability, but it also means the Mercedes

I’m not sure the average traffic speed in Paris is much above that (London is certainly below that). The reduction in parking bays and cycle lanes will probably have more of an impact, although from my few experiences of Paris I suspect most drivers will just shrug and ignore all the new rules anyway.
