Maybe it is because I’m British, I have a different view on the Jag. It represents the most risk but also potentially the most potential financial reward as good ones in Europe can sell for up to the equivalent of $20,000. Also in the UK there is a reasonable supply of reconditioned Jag V8's around which would

Aston’s former Dr. Andy Palmer is right there, guys. Don’t you want a mid-engine F-Type?

My wife’s Smart ForFour is basically a Twingo with an uglier body and a better lease deal.  I wonder if I can convince her to have a few err modifications done to it.

Yep.

Yes but it was not very well suited to the car being much heavier and required quite a lot of changes from the standard B to fit. They didn’t handle very well as a result. The later V8 cars used the Rover/ Buick 3500 V8 which was a much better option as that engine was actually lighter than the standard 4 cylinder B

I agree it makes sense, but then F1 and making sense don’t always go together.

Trivial point but if F1 runs races in only Europe and Asia it technically does not count as a World Championship under FIA rules, which require a world championship to stage races on three continents. I guess they will get round it by counting the aborted Australian event as they turned up even if no cars ran.

The Mk 3 based version was never officially imported into the UK. They brought the Mk V version in ironically just at the Mk V Cortina was being replaced by the Sierra.

The profit numbers are good for headlines but probably the more important number for Tesla is it is generating a positive cash flow from operating activities which is good.

Came here for this, It’s something of a Matthew Vaughn movie Easter egg. Dexter Fletcher’s character has the same name in  Kick Ass and also drives a yellow P38.

My mate popped in for a cup of coffee with his Khamsin yesterday. Can’t understand why anyone would want to change the shape of one.

I’m not convinced that this isn’t US spec car with Euro bumpers as it wears the box around the rear bumpers that the Euro cars lacked and I’m not sure what the benefit would be from adding that.

I can’t remember which MB platform the LX/LC/LA platforms are based on but Mercedes have been making convertible versions of the E class/ CLK since the early 2000's and they had AMG options, so I assume it was possible to make a Challenger convertible sufficently rigid back when the car was launched at least. The

They were also good fun to drive, although had terrible seats that gave me backache.

I guess GTR = GT3, GTR Pro = GT3RS and Black Series = GT2 RS?

Ford does offer a van version of the Fiesta in Europe although the market is more for florists than the postal service. https://www.ford.co.uk/vans-and-pickups/new-fiesta-van/van. I would think the Transit Connect which is already available in the US would be a better choice though.

Fair question Jim Radcliffe, Ineos’s CEO and the richest person in the UK is a noted eurosceptic on political integration but was in favour of the original common market. He’s also been critical of how the government are handling the trade negotiations.

When it comes to Supercar makers on the brink, McLaren look to be in worse shape. Without the loan talked about below looks like there was a real threat of them going under in a couple of weeks.

As a U.K. citizen I have no idea and yes it is totally illogical. I would much prefer we used the metric system for all motoring aspects including speed limits, but that is unlikely in my lifetime.
