Oh, I’m sure he did as much as he could and he was well paid. I just think all of GM has a problem. They need to trickle down the good stuff from the halo brand and not add basement stuff to the nice cars.

Later that night, David is confronted by his beloved Jeep...

Don’t worry, now that this story has appeared, some bloke will fatally crash his XC90 forthwith.

I’ve always wondered how life would have been if my parents had bought the two matching Fiats.

We need the figure in something akin to deaths per mile driven... We then need to compare that to other cars with similar total mileage. I suspect they’ll still be the safest, but, as you say, these figures without larger context, don’t mean much.

You probably would have missed a lot of school...

I am of a similar age, and have a similar story of falling in love with the Conquest when my mom was shopping for a new car (in ‘88).

Another ‘lie’ is that they didn’t kill anyone (title) while the text mentions no one has been killed ‘inside’ one. Which is a big difference.

It’s 1987, I’m 11, and my mom is looking to trade in her Pontiac Phoenix for a Chrysler New Yorker. The first dealership we go to had a pair of Bertones and I logically suggested they buy the pair at about the same price as the New Yorker. To my credit I did get them to look at them a bit, but they didn’t fall for it.

Good news. I heard 1200 experienced car assemblers just became available for immediate employment. (You just have to move them from Ohio to California)

No, no, no. Not Desert Salad, Dessert Salad.

Gout?

They can’t. All the sales numbers would be fudged.

No Supra has ever been a cheap car. In 1979 the base price was $9578($32,300 today) but two years later they adjusted the base price to $11,298(nearly $40k). a 1984 2nd gen was also $40k adjusted. By 1997 it was $50,000 for the Turbo(nearly$80,000 adjusted!!!). I expect this car to come in around 40k-50k, otherwise

’ludes!!!

I promise you, as poor as you think you are compared to those “high net worth individuals”, there are millions of people much MUCH poorer than you. And they probably dream of being where you are now. It’s all relative.

That means they didn’t read my feedback.

I found a full body image of it:

Trump doesn’t “get” anything - he yells and yells and yells and yells, and 5% of the time falls dick-first into something okay, and receives 120% of the credit and gets called a “GENIUS MASTER NEGOTIATOR”.

I have a way more diecasts than I currently have room to display. I mainly stick to 1:18 and 1:43.
