M sport trimmed models only have the M badge on trim pieces, like the steering wheel. Actual M cars have the badge on the rear end of the car. Regardless of badging, unless you are daft, you’d definitely know it when you are driving an actual M car. These cars are as good as any M car should be.

Diesel is not dead and it shouldn’t be. VW cheated not because diesel couldn’t be less polluting. It cheated because it wanted to dominate the market in overall sales (diesel and gas).
