Could be that I’ve not flown international in a long time... but I can’t remember the last time I saw an attractive/young flight crew.

Oh I know.

Seems like the GOP, fearing a reversal of fortunes in the upcoming midterm elections, is just trying to throw as many hail mary passes before half time... the consequences of backing (and being stuck with) a lame QB.

Another *whine “I live in New York” story? I once heard a New Yorker say “once you’ve lived in NYC, you’ve seen everything”. These NYC posts on Jalopnik read like you folks are seeing things for the first time.

Anyone know a good slim profile unpowered center channel speaker?

Over 40-50 and is an actual car enthusiast. I don’t see how anyone can say they’re an enthusiast and have no awareness for Bullitt, Vanishing Point, C’etait un Rendezvous, etc.

Just how much $ does Uber have to be able to consistently settling?

I see myself more likely to own the previous generations than the current and newest. Visually, the former has that nice balance of practical street car + rugged ute. The latter just don’t interest me at all.

And this is precisely why there will probably never be another Mazdaspeed as the brand seeks to move up-market (and greater profit margins). The people they want to go after, the folks with good credit and buying power, are not boy racers.

This is just VW trying to “figure out” America. I can just see the execs musing, “What do Americans like? Big ass trucks. Let’s show them a big ass truck in concept just to stay relevant... and so they can forget about the cheating business for a moment. Perfekt.”

Prius driver?

Eh, that would make the interior exceedingly busy, thus counter to [part of] the reason you like it to begin with, why the design works as is, and the intent of the designer.

However you want to spin it. Cadillac sees itself as a luxury brand. Even as a near-lux, it still isn’t in the “average” car category, thus the above-average cost. And, that, IS reality.
