For what it’s worth, I think the only reason the West/USA doesn’t consider it dorky as well is because the Star Wars franchise niche’d itself into that font. They’ve ran with that shaping/thickness for so long no one bats an eye on its usage.

There was Sleeping Dogs.

I love that buying the thing you want directly is touted as a feature of this system.

I wanna go back to a time when people didn’t get offended by every little thing. Wouldn’t that be nice?

“People who like easy games are losers.”

Doing a switcheroo doesn’t make it less true.

It’s actually a throwback to the difficulty selection in Wolfenstein 3D.

My issue is that he finds that the slider discourages him from playing at his preferred level at all.

In the end, it’s a difficulty slider; it is literally a measure of the force with which the game will resist the player’s efforts to proceed, and nothing else.

I suffer from anxiety. I have panic attacks out of the

Eh, too much.

There are certain games I play expecting a difficult time. The Souls series is a personal favorite (including Bloodborne, despite the fact that its fucked up framerate serves only to add additional layers of frustration).

There are other games I play to relax.

Right about what? He doesn’t even have a point to make. “Play games on whatever difficulty you’d like”. Wow, fucking groundbreaking.

For fuck’s sake, Ethan, really? This is dumb. Sorry, this is just dumb. How little self confidence must you have that a picture of a man in a baby bonnet somehow bullies you? It’s a picture in a video game. No one is watching you. It isn’t a form of peer pressure, it’s your own weird insecurities. Sack up, man.

Oh my god that mini-map rant was ridiculous and terrible.

Could be worse, it could be Kirk ranting about the evils of the mini-map.

Gotta get those clicks, friend.

In other words, you felt peer pressure from a game and now want all of us to peer pressure gaming companies into making game that doesn’t peer pressure you back?

Surely you realize how that’s not all that much better.

My number one favorite thing about Dayz, is forgetting about it for a 5 months, having someone point out that it exists, saying to my self “It’s still in Early Access???” and then forgetting about it again.

If this thing comes out, they are going to take away a great gamer tradition of remembrance.

This game was a cool social experiment, and I’m glad I played it back when it came out, but I ultimately realized it has no standing as an actual “game”.

I still want my fucking money back.
