Blame game’s marketing, I’m a guy who is interested in video games and read about them, but still has no fuckin idea what is this game about.

That’s a shame. AoM is flawed, but I had a lot of fun playing it. It’s like the first Watch Dogs, it has some good ideas that could be focused and improved in a sequel

Ouch. Here’s hoping those laid off land on their feet.

Obligatory.

A fellow dev of mine works on a really popular (read: top 10 on steam) game, and is on Twitter a lot. Even when he tweets really benign things, the first comments are some variation of “fuck you, fix ur game” or “why are you talking about xyz when you could be doing abc in the game bitch.”

Sharing progress, seeing what others are doing, talking about the ups and downs of development and so on are my favorite thing about working in games, but yeah talking about it just invites abuse, no matter how you approach it.

Glad to see you just copied and pasted your lazy ass comment from the AV Club.

Oh I remember the days so long ago when Maury was an ACTUAL daytime talk show trying to help people, had the sister of a classmate on there one time “Out of control teens” but he was trying to show them thats not the way. Now it’s just Who’s the Daddy and lie detectors lol. Now all that being said I FUCKING LOVE

oh the irony of this is hilarious.

this screenshot said it all. I am all of these expressions.

I’m curious what the vetting process for these tips will look like.

Peter Theil soon will be.

I can only acknowledge the first Mortal Kombat movie as the ONLY good video game movie adaptation. Well, Silent Hill was okay but I hated the ending.

Hey, dude, give them a little credit. I mean, it’s just a mobile developer being tasked with remastering and updating a PS2 game. What’s the worst that could happen?

I had heard that the FF9 backgrounds were originally authored at a much higher resolution, and then shrunk to SD/NTSC resolution, and then compressed like hell to fit on “only” four PS2 CDROMs. Which sounds AWESOME. Except, erm, they lost the originals.

I don’t believe a game’s length is a good measure of its quality, unless it feels unfinished. ZOE has a gorgeous scifi aesthetic (Thanks in no small part to Shinkawa’s designs.) and the gameplay is just nuts... They managed to make a 3D brawler where just about anything you do looks amazingly epic and anime-esque. (I

It takes even longer if your indecision upsets the Gayle Force Winds.

I had a copy of this a couple of years back. I found it during one of my thrift store visits for $1.91 complete. Being a WWII buff and lusting over these games when I was in HS in the late 70s I bought it.

My uncle works for Nintendo.
