once you accept that DOOM 3 for what it is, it’s actually a pretty good game.

Quake does have a soundtrack, but if you buy it off of Steam or where ever nowadays, it’s missing for whatever reason. There are patches and stuff online though.

this was very much just a showcase, showing off thew animations and weapons, but you could see in the Hell level the enemies starting to act like actual enemies. I’m gunna go ahead and guess you can turn the difficulty up.

right but even user reviews are high. on the steam store page it has a status of “overwhelmingly positive”

I remember it getting a lot of 8/10s, don’t remember many “meh” reviews. I really loved it.

cool, so when that goes on sale, I’ll buy it and finally play the DLC which never seemed to go on sale for less than the GOTY edition ( I had the standard edition =/ )

yeah this is pretty much DOOM. as a dude who has every id shooter in physical form, nicely preserved in the original packaging about 1 foot away from me, I am pleased.

looks pretty fuckin cool to me. Was it perfect? no, but let’s face it, the orginal DOOM was THE perfect FPS.

Dude, yes. yes dude. I really wish we could get another Blood on the Sand, people don’t appreciate how ridiculously great that game was (it’s actually a pretty decent shooter), and the world needs more 50 Cent vs. Terrorists.

I’m with you, love indies, but I also love bigger titles too. I remember pre-ordering Tearaway before I even knew much about it just because I wanted to support a bigger Vita game.
