I have sort of the opposite problem. Since I rarely do yard work, my house always looks like no one’s been home for a month or more!
We had one around the house when I was growing up. Nothing weird or scary was ever conjured up...unless you consider the extreme dysfunction of our family. But I think the dysfunction predated the Ouija board by at least two decades.

Google Desktop was a great search program. I liked that it could find things on my computer that were no longer there! It (apparently) kept backup copies of documents that were long deleted. That was a cool feature.
