Surpsingly no on the Ardbeg, haven’t tried Talisker. The only Ardbeg I could get her in on was the Corryvreckan.

I’ve tried Ardmore before, but not this one. Good recommendation! We’ll have to travel to get it as the only NH liquor store near us with a selection large enough is the Liquor Palace on the highway back to Massacuhsetts.

I luckily live in a town that hosts the Highland Games. Every year Laphroaig comes with it and brings Cairdeas. We buy it at the NH liqour stores in September/October. It’s great becuase it changes ever so slightly every year. By ever so slightly, I mean gains ABV every year...

I clicked through to the purple carrot listing and was surprised that the ones they sell are actually different and purple all the way through. Maybe if I could find those my carrot ginger soup would be purple instead of baby diaper brown.

My wife drinks Lagavulin 16 and Laphroaig Cairdeas, neat. Bourbon is too soft she says. She actually poopoo’d Highland scotch for being too flowery.

Purple carrots are the actually pretty cool looking. When you slice them, they’re yellow in the middle. This is one of the few times I have taken a produce picture, and I stand by it.

It does work! That said, it’s one of many hidden secrets. Making a cornstarch gel as part of the liquid works very well also. The only thing I have never actually tried is lard. I’m always a butter guy. Must be something about the French and Irish in me.

Was there ever an iteration where Luthor was fat and old? My favorites are always going to be the All Star Superman Luthor and The Timmverse Luthor, so that’s where my mental image draws from.
