I’ve watched this film over 20 times and still love it.

I’m my opinion, Coty of God is one of the greatest films ever made. In terms of gangster / crime films, it’s an epic tragedy of Shakespearean or even Homeric scope that should be spoken of in the same breath as Godfather and Goodfellas.

On of the best films of the last 25 years. Easy.

Well done, sir. “City of God” is the first thing I thought of when I saw some of these pictures. Eerily similar.
