No, they may do a pull ahead with one or two months left on your lease, but BMW is even going away from that. I had a ‘17 Audi S6 on lease for 10 months, but I put a lot down and had $9000 in equity because of it, so trading it in (after 10 months) was no problem. You could pay the entire $7467 which would fulfill

I live in TX, and want cleaner air.  Don’t think you speak for everyone else against CA, most people aren’t morons and understand that clean air and water are better for everyone.

If you can find an Audi dealer not requiring a $5000+ deposit, just to get on a waiting list for the RS6, you are in luck. I’ve been given the run around by 2 different dealers, and refuse to pay money to be on a waiting list. The second dealer claimed the money was necessary due to this being a limited run of 500 in

Yeah, forums are full of electronics issues on the G05.  I think they rushed it to market and first model year purchasers were definitely beta testers.

Handling is less important in an SUV, but the Q7 was pretty shockingly bad.  The SQ5 handled well, but was just too small for what I needed.

Q7 is comparable to an X5 in the size department, not an X7/GLS.  I know some people like the Q7, I found it to be an unacceptable bore with horrid steering feel, drove like a mid 2000's Silverado.

The Mercedes may be up horsepower-wise, but they are slower 0-60 and less fuel efficient.  I’m not a huge fan of the exterior on the redesigned GLE/GLS either, they look so bland compared to the outgoing models, interiors are pretty nice though.  Haven’t seen any issues popping up on the forums for the V8 in the G05,

Depends on what you let your kids do in your car.  I have a 9 year old and a 4 year old, and mine looks brand new, neither of them eats back there.

Other than my spouse, there are 2 other people I would allow to drive my vehicles.  I worked as an auto claims adjuster for a decade, that alone makes me leery of loaning my vehicles.

The TPP, that Trump pulled the US from almost as soon as he took office, would have addressed all these issues with China (everything from currency manipulation to intellectual property theft).  Trump hated it because Obama had negotiated it, so we are worse off, and face a recession because Trump couldn’t be bothered

This is a much better idea than giving an Audi dealership $5000 to get on a RS6 waiting list (which is currently what the dealers in Austin, TX are trying to pull).

Emailed the sales manager at my Audi dealership, told her to put my name on a wait list for this.  I purchased an S6 from them 2 years ago, so they should know I am serious...

I’ve heard that the regular A6 Avant will be released here as well.

E Class wagon buyers are the richest MB buyers on average.  They sell them here still because there is a consistent market.  I do actually see quite a few E400 and E450 wagons around ATX, so apparently they are hot with tech bros too.

I may need you to look into one for me too...

I doubt very much that you will find one on the lot, unless the dealer is being overly greedy with markups. I also don’t think these will suffer with that much depreciation. Look up a 3 year old E63S wagon, I doubt they are below $60k right now.

I’m looking at a Cayenne E Hybrid, the 2019+ model can tow 7716lbs. My X3 M40i can tow 4400lbs. That said, I never need to tow anything, nor do most people, so towing capacity is rarely a thing that decides vehicle purchases.

The “inevitable future of transportation” is so overblown it has become a joke. They are fine for single people, or those without kids. There is no way I’m going to hail an Uber/Lyft and have to drag 2 car seats with me, then figure out where to store them while out, and do the same thing in reverse. Venture capital

There is a Taycan thread on Rennlist, there may be some answers to your questions in there.

Buy it, then purchase an extended warranty.  That should get you 7 years of coverage, unless you put a high amount of miles on your vehicles yearly.  I know that a lot of people think extended warranties are a waste of money, but on a German vehicle, they usually pay for themselves.
