The challenger was SO bad they replaced it with a Buick? Damn, that car must be awful.

Jeep’s new lineup:
Jeep Wrabglar
Jeep Harghblargh
Jeep Raggle Fraggle
I mean...
To be fair the 300 is pretty nice. Solid room, nice luxury options, and the v6/8speed combo still gets 29-30mpg hwy for a 4400lb tank. Same with the charger. Challenger is a great cruiser and the Wrabgler has really gotten way better over the past decade. GC is a solid SUV as well and the Pacifica looks promising.…
The desire to save several thousand dollars over the Japanese competitors. Also, the last couple of people I knew who bought a Dodge/Chrysler (not including Jeep buyers) did so because they had a family member that worked for them and could get a steep employee discount, saving even more.
Drugs. Don’t do drugs.
It amazes me that consumers actually buy cars like these. I mean seriously, after having driven them as rentals, I can’t imagine what circumstance would lead me to buy such a crappy product.
Must be nice to be able to afford to crush a car. Even one as questionable as a Journey.
Fixed that for you. Angry is redundant. They did buy a Journey, after all.
I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUS!
That $80k buys you a much better interior. And most people don’t buy their cars based on lap times. I would think someone who competes in SCCA would, but who knows.
Well then I can only imagine your feelings on the 250 GTO!
Most beaten within an inch of life, not taken care of, filthy and rotted by rust... at least from the ones I saw.
Suuuuuuuure it is.
It’s worth mentioning that the Department of Justice has stressed that their recycling/scrapping procedure is going to be as environmentally responsible as possible.
Just fixing it isn’t that complicated. Fixing it in a way that isn’t prohibitively expensive and doesn’t undermine the performance or fuel economy of the car is. The cheating software exists so they can pass the test while still offering the performance specs that they do.
“Great Cars”
Seems counterintuitive to the "damage to the environment" ethos to render up to half a million vehicles inoperable, or otherwise destroy them, as part of the recall.
