For real. Cut the muffler off a 600 and wind it out to redline every shift... A$$holes of a different cut, still a$$holes.

They are turning the system on so it actively counters roll, before that its just a static spinning gyroscope.
Same, I have been looking at buying a used pickup for almost a year, but the market is just stupid. By the time things normalize I may just be better off buying new, and right now this tops the new list for sure.
Ditto-ish (I would get the truck) but no way this makes it to production
For real, but there is pretty much zero chance of that happening :’(
Having owned a 94, agreed. This is a nice example, looks very well kept, but just not worth that price.
No:
I used to commute on the Merrit. What a shitshow, but SUCH a beautiful road.
I lived in FL for 10 years, same kind of construction. Sure, there are many many cases like you describe, but also many many cases where continued power would have mitigated the issue. But that mindset of ignoring the possibilities to cut costs is what happened. When I lived in FL I would wrap the outside pipes in…
If all the plants had been online they could have run enough heat to keep their houses above freezing... Chicken/egg, whatever - black swan weather event was not planned for because of the posted mindset, for building houses and for regulating the grid.

Nice bench! I get to build mine this winter...
Yes, really have no choice. FWD minivan, western MA hill towns, 0.5 mile dirt driveway with a max grade of 14%. Even with snows there was one day last year I had to park half way up and walk. On the roads it makes a huge difference. That said I still have the all-seasons on it, and won’t switch over for at least a few…
Hah, I had a 300 SDL. Wonderful car, totally worth that price. Easy and fun to work on with a good enthusiast community.
I’m with you though, I have bought two new vehicles my entire life, and doubt I ever will again. One was a bike, but I got 20% off MSRP and a 5 year full boat warranty, so I think it made sense...
I live in the hills, lots of family land and backed up to conservation land - I would use this almost every damn day, sign me up!!!
That one always struck me “people can rent trucks” - I wish guns were regulated as well as trucks!!! Mandatory safety inspections, mandatory insurance, licensing with regular renewal requirements, etc...
I actually prefer that he makes it through the election he is gonna loose - I don’t want President Pence to pardon him. But yah, severe lasting damage that makes his coming jail time miserable.
