The Mazda 6 is dead because it was good on it’s own, but when compared to everything else it just wasn’t as good. Case in point the Accord. The Accord is just better all around. The CX-3 was just redundant. 

All of these are fantastic in yellow!!

Acura’s and Honda as a whole are cheaper to run than the German counterparts. The bloat of cars currently can’t be pinned on the manufacturers. New safety regulations and desire for more techno goodies from consumers are the driving factors in increasing the weight.

This is exactly what I was thinking of. The engines are inexpensive, and there’s still a good amount of aftermarket support.

I think the previous owner detailed ownership adds some comfort in the mileage. I just picked up a 2019 Accord Sport 2.0 6MT when it was traded in, I talked to the guy for 25 minutes (he bought a CTR) after the talk I went and bought his Accord.  Pride of ownership totally helps.
