I may look into those. I've got Motor Trend TV but have mostly just watched old Top Gear because I don't know what else is good or if it's all guys screaming at each other and cutting corners while they build garbage.

I just wish it was cheaper. I can’t justify yet another steaming service. Not with so many high end content creators on YouTube.

It, like the Grand Tour, has gotten stale over the years.  There’s only so much humor you can wring out of similar situations.  But it’s still entertaining for sure.

Eh. It will likely still make me chuckle. Seamen had some funny moments.

I don’t know about the OP but I was also quoted $600 for a toilet install, but that included the cost of the toilet (approx $200), so about $400 labor. Yeah screw that, it only takes me like a hour total to remove and install a toilet. It’s not that hard.

$600 for a toilet mount is insane. My plumber charges $150 for the job and that only cause it’s their minimum fee. I do most of the electrical work in my house, i.e. I’ve replaced all of the light switches and quite a few of the outlets with decora units that look nicer.

That is basically why I became a do-it-yourselfer. Dad died when I was 7, we lived of SS for many years. I learned to fix mostly everything myself, and my mom let me, or we would have done without. Later, as an adult, I continued to look at the increasingly rising cost of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and decided

First, let me say wholeheartedly that you are correct. Most trucks never tow or go off-road. Most sports cars never go on a track. Most guitars hang on walls. Most sex swings stay in their packaging. Most gym memberships go unused.

The Canyon is the Colorado for people who think Buick dealerships are fancy.

This is a shitpost right? Is shitposting allowed on the front page?

Most kids have friends.

See Lincoln Navigator. I’ve seen a few rolling around and those are pricy

I can’t speak for actual Texans, and I’ve lived my life in the shadow of the Detroit 3, so I will admit that my impressions/opinions are colored by that. However, brand loyalty for truck buyers seems to be stronger than it is in any other segment in the automotive world, because most pickup buyers are buying an image.

No room in the garage for a vehicle.

The serious builds are mainly upgrades you can’t see.

Sounds like Jim couldn’t hack it as CEO

You’re being a bit pessimistic.  Unemployment here in our part of Florida is around 10%.  Bad, but not terrible.  Democrats and Republicans will get behind stimulus.  If there’s one thing politicians love to do, it’s spend our money.

The Sasquatch Package is the one you’ll hear about, but never actually find it.

So, if I’m reading this right, after three weeks, you still, technically, have all your cars? With one sold.

I try not to nit-pick, but what exactly is a diversity “ritual?”
