Yeah, that’s kind of a sneaky good upgrade that lots of casuals won’t understand.

I take 4 people offroading pretty regularly in my Cherokee. It’s fun to be able to take friends, kids or a couple of doges offroad with you. With that said, I understand how you’d like a regular cab as well.

For real, imagine how someone without clean water or nutritious food looks at all us fat fucks.

To be fair, I’ve gone and done this in my car after a particularly infuriating day at work. Fortunately my car has doors so it’s a little more private.

Dry dock it and draw tourists in with a drag queen brunch spot. Mimosas and someone with the stage name “Queen Mary” seems like a real money maker.

Yeah, 250psi is incredible! That’s more compression than most cylinders have!

I had a friend with one of these. It was surprisingly good for transporting a track bike because it was so low to the ground.

It is pretty bad.

A blanket would have been better than nothing, but damn that thing really exploded.

Oddly enough, work trucks are insanely expensive for what you get. A stripper model, white, single cab, long bed truck is honestly only a few thousand less than a crew cab with basic amenities.

I put my downpayment on my truck via personal check. Only $5k and I was trading in my paid off truck, so I guess the dealer probably wasn’t that concerned that I was a deadbeat.

I think truck sales probably have a lot more custom ordering. There’s thousands of different ways to configure them. The manufacturers try to take a guess at what will have mass appeal and put those on the lot. If you want something particular or you don’t want something (lookin at you, $900 navigation system), gotta

Offroading is all about compromises. You’ve got a bigger, more comfortable vehicle that’s way better than a XJ on just about any condition other than extreme wheeling.

I think multiple bed sizes will be offered, although you won’t be able to get an 8 foot bed because the EV requires a crew cab.

Honestly it could be a combination of all three. People who come from money, have good work ethic, and a valuable skill set often are incredibly successful.

Agreed the SS is cooler, but it’s also in a different price bracket.

When I was shopping for a car at the end of 2019, these with fairly low mileage (<30k) and only 2-4 years old were about $32k which is actually pretty good value for something like this.

If I ever end up in the suburbs with a long commute, I want a vehicle just like this. Sporty, decent mileage, and should be fairly reliable.

Honestly even my wife’s CX5 handled much better than all the competing crossovers we shopped them against. Certainly not sports cars, but still it’s nice to have something with a little sharper handling characteristics.

I think they probably sell more CX5s than the rest of their lineup combined. I don’t think they are going anywhere.
