It is extremely obvious that you are accepting surge pricing in the app. Uber used to hide it a bit, but you can’t accept a ride without seeing the surge pretty much in bold letters now. Also, she “added” a 93 mile detour to the airport after getting in the car...that sounds more than a bit…

In the Uber app, there’s a huge fucking WARNING that says surge pricing is in effect. I can’t recall if it specifies just how much impact it will have though, because most of my business travel is in shitholes where no one else cares to go.
