Uh, it doesn't work too well for them either usually.

Sansa's development went from like 0 to 60. I have whiplash.

This website called bolt.com back in the day used to have "Member of the Day" where they would show your profile pic and a random question you asked. One time I got picked as member of the day. Had about a billion private emails, most complimentary, but more than a few naming the likely same anti-Chinese slur. Which

As someone that's been around various fan communities online for 10 years your statement that you're baffled is a bit of an exaggeration. The "Craster sons are turned to Others" theory has been discussed, sure, but never confirmed in any meaningful way. I always thought it more likely they were blood sacrifices, which

Joss really, really loved Kitty.

Season 1 was amazing after the halloween episode. That's not pretending, it's pretty much a fact since that's also when a majority of the fan base jumped in.

I think y'all are crazy.

B. Impressed with the high aim but not enough laughs to make the visit worth it.

I agree with pretty much everything you said here. I don't get where they're taking Schmidt's arc at all. He used to be a loveable asshole. Now one week he is, the next he's just a cheating douche. And he should be bouncing a lot better off other characters, but I feel like his wild success in keeping the show afloat

Really? I think Jess has evolved a great deal from the very shaky characterization in season 1. We've seen her fail, date "dream" guys, then date a guy she actually loves. The entire time she has shed off the overly romantic and unrealistic notations of her youth for the most part and become much more adult.

I do think that first point is the biggest problem with this season. It's kept us focused on a couple we already spent a lot of time with last season, in a less interesting stage of the relationship, to the determent of other still active characters. Even Friends knew when to put Ross/Rachel and Monica/Chandler on the

I think I'm in the same boat. I'm out for the season, unless I hear about another really great run of episodes. I'll try again in the 4th.

I do agree that Nick is getting the most character work…. but do find any of it fun or exciting to watch exactly? I just thought his journey from slovenly crazy person to a respectable boyfriend would be mined for a bit more classic Nick material. I've largely been unsatisfied by the process itself I guess.

She got MUCH better as season 1 progressed and I thought she was great in season 2. Like most of these characters shes an acquired taste though, could see her not working for a lot of people.

Could you clarify on how you think its striving to dig into its characters this season? I'm legitimately curious because I think the opposite this season. What, if anything, have we learned about Nick and Jess? Or Coach or Cece? Winston is erratic as ever, but I just got whiplash in his recent arc from being a radio

I'll agree it was never perfect every episode, but certainty battered a better overall average than this. I not only skip episodes frequently now, I drop them half way through because I'm not laughing or enjoying myself. Such a bummer considering how much I liked the show last year.

This season has been a complete, unmitigated disaster. The 2nd season was one of the best shows on TV last year, especially in that amazing run from Cooler to the finale. The jokes were hitting, the characters were working, and the only real flaw was that Winston was getting the eternal shaft (although still killing

To each their own. He ruined Happy Endings for me, and he has the same effect on this show. Something about his mannerisms is just nails on chalk board for me.

I won't let you pretend, this is true. Other than the occasional Nick Miller line that Jake Johnson delivers above and beyond and the occasional moment of Winston madness this season has been low on the funny. To make it worse it's also been low on interesting plots. This has been a complete nose dive in quality

I really liked the Jamm reveal. Makes sense. Horrendous people usually turn other people off. His basis for human connection is making someone else hate him.
