I wasn’t speaking to Hardy’s specific case. I am applauding her for the way she framed the issue in a larger and more meaningful context. It’s refreshing to read an article that isn’t too simplistic in its take.

The rule is not dumb, not at all. If you were running an NFL franchise, you would want to see your prospects play against quality competition for as long as possible so you can make your best assessment as to the viability of that player in the pros.
