I honestly believe this is the right decision. Yeah, he’s probably being railroaded to some degree, and yeah, there are far worse accusations against other senators and (sadly) soon-to-be-senators, and of course, the fucking president. Does Star Wars really need to be self-serious though? I mean, the main franchise, sure, it’s space-opera, but there was always an element of fun, too—if you’re doing spinfoff movies or whatever, a lighter tone would work.
