What has killed me about the fandom behind the DeLorean is that I don’t think it’s talked enough about how much BTTF really “saved” that car.

I’m glad TMS has been moved up the schedule. It’s miserable in the middle of the year at the track, and the night weather does little to stymie how hot it can be. Moving it into March will make for a cooler race. Having the ‘southern’ races - and Long Beach - prior to Indy is a good move. Nashville will be as hot and…
When there’s discussion about Formula One drivers I think it’s important to reiterate that what the teams really worry about more is the constructor’s championship, which is a particularly unique aspect of F1 itself outside of most every other racing series.
I read a study - I’m effectively paraphrasing it as I don’t have the exact source - that some psychologists believe that a reason humans frequently say watch the same movies over, or read a book they’ve already read, or play a video game repetitively is because it’s comfort in the known; that is, you know what to…
If I could take a pretty far shot into the dark as to why this requirement will extend to single player is because GT7 is going to bring over some of the small bits of GT Sport primarily in being able to purchase in-game & DLC vehicles with either earned credits or real money. If you allow single game players to cheat…
I’m very cynic about this as well.
So on the actual production truck...
I’ve moderated forums in the past and now I actually run an organization’s social media as part of my job, and indeed the differences between a forum and virtually anything else social media-driven cannot be stated enough.
No the guy that responded to you is correct; you do not need a full blown Super License to participate in FP1; F1 actually has a special regulation in place that excludes any FP1 drivers from meeting the SL requirements due to lack of in-season testing. As it stands one currently needs to have an International Grade A…
It was really weird. When I was over in Japan I saw them near EVERYWHERE, especially in Tokyo. Despite one having to pay a higher road tax for these models due to their engine size (the old Skylines being under 3000ccs meant you always paid cheaper taxes), they’re much easier to get past shaken.
Well... technically he wouldn’t have signed on a title. The car being new would have been on an certificate of origin (MSO/MCO), something the buyer doesn’t see, which then would have been sent off to the lien holder to subsequently allow the buyer to register at their DMV (There’s a lot of very shady practices of…
I’ll take this time to remind the world that in addition to games such as Metal Gear and everything else he’s done, Kojima was also a producer for Tokimeki Memorial; something that the later games have given little nods to with MGS cameos. So I’m imagining one week you’re playing something akin to Phantom Pain or…
I still remember vividly getting my NES.
I agree with this.
Beyond aero, another noteworthy advancement in the 70s was tires. The slick tire was introduced into F1 in 1971, however radial construction wouldn’t come until 1977. F1 racing tires up to that point were still bias ply. Disadvantages not only were due to the lesser safety aspects of non-radial tires not being able to…
I haven’t purchased a console at launch since the 1990s (The PSP I did very close to launch day, but was still some days out). I see no reason to rush nowadays, and with games constantly being updated it’s best just to wait until updates and changes have ran their course.
I’m really glad to see GT Sport’s livery setup coming to GT7. I’ve spent a tremendous amount of time messing around with liveries - more than actually driving cars - and it has it’s relative limitations but they’re offset by effectively being able to replicate whatever content you want or can come up with. It’s also…
A wheel and pedal setup was the best thing I ever did for GT Sport (and other driving games). I bought a G29 setup right after Sport came out, and my playing competency increased ten-fold. I know there’s people that can still play very good with just a controller, but a wheel and pedal setup increases the experience…
Just go purchase a good CTS coupe. Yes, even the V6. You have roughly the same styling, near the same interior luxury (sans the dash setup, which was decade old Cadillac), they could be had in AWD (!), and you won’t have to deal with anything- GM battery related in the future. Not to mention you’ll come out WAY ahead…
You have to remember:
