"Please, please, please do not put Alex and Meredith together." 1,000 times this. Why can't shows maintain and explore great platonic relationships between a male and female character?

Glad to see a counter-balance to all the Maggie hate. I find her quite comical and endearing.

Yeah, they were alone at that point, which means a more intimate display of affection would have been more realistic.

I absolutely know what you mean. However, I'm not sure it's fair to pin the blame on the actors - it could be any number of people behind the scenes that is responsible for that decision. Also, two girls kissing is still seen (sadly) as less controversial/off-putting for an audience than two guys kissing.

I hope so. It's important to treat an LGBT relationship with a similar weight to all the heterosexual ones, rather than just have characters assigned the LGBT tag but never appearing to act on it, making it a redundant character trait.

I hope the Bryan/Miller situation is given some decent exploration. It's great to have the relationship on the show and having them both be at odds with each other. Great tension.

"Radcliffe is one of the very best villains"

It's my one criticism of the shows that Netflix has made - the credits are like an endurance test.

The most ardant fans are usually the worst people, having a warped and blinkered view on the show and their untouchable faves.

Please don't even joke about that, Tamara

"Also how the heck are they going to solve something that involves
reactors all the way in Egypt and presumably Eurasia too? Raven might
have a point."

Yeah, I agree, I enjoyed it - I like both Arizona and Bailey a lot, kind of indifferent to Jo - but it was a weird "comeback" episode. It would have worked better next week or the week after.

I totally agree that there was a strange rewriting of Bailey's character, but one could argue there's a difference between racism/evil attitudes and someone who is classified as a highly dangerous individual who has been put behind bars for life after committing a violent crime. Also, she was in an alien environment,

Interesting observations, Ang.

Knowing this show, it's surely going to be that the M.E. has been compromised.

"But Carl? Yeah he could go."

I enjoyed your comment, although I have to question your enjoyment of the ridiculously overblown smile-fest that closed the episode.

I thought the Morgan-Eastman was OK; the fact I find Morgan uninteresting is probably why I didn't enjoy it that much.

Eugene is a bit annoying, but at least he's a distinct character on the show.

I never watch any show live for this very reason.
