I actually really like both Callie and Arizona. I'd love it if they eventually reunite but I won't hold my breath.

But didn't the brother who ended up going through the portal pick a black stone?
It's interesting, re: Penny, because I find her a breathe of fresh air as a contrast to some of the generally bratty, loud characters. Though I suppose one man's endearing is another's boring.
Althoooough, alarm still being triggered when she took out all the guys in the room was what made her realise it was a 2-way mirror and someone behind it had set the alarm off - as such, she should have immediately broken the mirror.
I sure as shit hope he wasn't "Netflix and chilling" with his mom - a new boyfriend, sure, but NOT his mom.
I see - I misunderstood your comment then, however I don't think anyone is laughing at the fans of this particular relationship.
This is an awful lot of pressure and gravitas to bestow on what is fundamentally a piece of sci-fi entertainment.
Bearing in mind Abraham's comic death was given to Denise (from what I've read on here, at least), the show's writers have given themselves the chance to preserve Glen and take out Abraham with this particular death.
"They can talk about god and war the whole freaking day…. so american" lol-ing at this
She is a bit of a wimp (although that's probably a cruel way to describe her), but I find something endearing about her, that she isn't this massive, larger than life personality.
Blimey, this comments thread is like a ghost town!
This is exactly the reason I started watching Kingdom, but I've kept watching because it's a superb show.
If it helps, I thought he was irritating on Grey's Anatomy so I'm not delighted by his casting.
Interesting. I think Joel McHale is superb on Community, but I found his performance on this season jarring.
Having only just watched the finale episode, I think you're spot on - and even the AV Club reviews tally with the fact that the standalone MotW stories worked better than the convoluted and slightly ropey mythology episodes. Like you, I'm saying this as a massive fan of the show and someone who's hoping the next…
I'm not sure how fair it is to apply the Bechdel test to Grey's, which is fundamentally a soap and therefore all about relationships.
Wholeheartedly agree re: April/Jackson. I actually quite enjoy both characters, and April is endearing when she's not thumping that Bible, but the two of them just need to be separated now and have their own stories. I think your speculation about their story and the forgiving of Arizona will probably prove to be…
I admire your optimism.
Behind The Scenes
Sadly, if feels like they had a plan to run for seven seasons, but then forgot to plot it out for the final couple.
