It's interesting, re: Penny, because I find her a breathe of fresh air as a contrast to some of the generally bratty, loud characters. Though I suppose one man's endearing is another's boring.

This is an awful lot of pressure and gravitas to bestow on what is fundamentally a piece of sci-fi entertainment.

Bearing in mind Abraham's comic death was given to Denise (from what I've read on here, at least), the show's writers have given themselves the chance to preserve Glen and take out Abraham with this particular death.

Wholeheartedly agree re: April/Jackson. I actually quite enjoy both characters, and April is endearing when she's not thumping that Bible, but the two of them just need to be separated now and have their own stories.
