I agree they do, but I'm not sure this episode particularly achieved that.

Perhaps because of how JM allegedly reacted to another character potentially usurping her as the show's focus, the Kings are now mindful about keeping everyone subordinate to Dame Alicia…

"I find it contrived how EVERY SINGLE ONE of Alicia cases - now and as Florrick Agos - is against the old firm."

Upvoting purely for the great phrase "English drawing room farce".

I can understand that perspective, but one could argue that she was (up until Bishop when she became uncharacteristically intimidated) rather fearless and confident, and her short frame meant the men she overpowered underestimated her.

I agree last week's was a worse example, but this wasn't much better. I certainly feel the Abraham/Sasha stuff could have been ditched and the Daryl story could have been streamlined and inserted into another episode.

It's episodes like this that are reasonable justification for reducing the episode count per season back down to 13 rather than 16.

I'm still not a fan of Morgan particularly, but his stand-alone episode was certainly better than this week's non-episode. I enjoyed the Morgan flashback episode, but I feel it was a bit overrated - maybe a B+. This week's was a C at best.

Exactly. TWD seems to be exceptionally guilty of this.

"…but even I can't believe it's not butter!"

I couldn't agree more with what you said - bearing in mind how dull this episode was, I'm surprised the review is show positive and with a decent score; I think it was more a C-grade. The Daryl part was semi-interesting, but like you the Sasha/Abraham storyline left me cold.

This show continues to be really great. So well cast and the ensemble is just the right size so you feel like no one is getting forgotten about, something other shows are guilty of.

We've seen him a couple of times - last season, Daryl had dinner with Aaron and his husband, who I think's called Eric.

CARL is wrapped in popularity armour?!

To be fair to Gabriel, he's not boring, he's just exceptionally irritating and a complete waste of space.

I had never even considered Rick and Michonne as a romantic pair - there's not even the vaguest suggestion or hint of that. They seem to have more of a respectful/sibling style relationship to me.

Many of the fans of Morgan's character seem to be readers
