I don’t much care for the show - I’m not a fan of Tolkien or LotR in general, and on its own as a fantasy show it’s ridiculously beautiful but also ridiculously terribly written (the dialogues are mostly horrible, the storytelling is the opposite of organic). It’s mostly harmless, though.

Pennyworth is better than any series about Batman’s butler should be.  I suppose I shouldn’t be surprise, I’ve enjoyed every series from Bruno Heller I’ve ever seen.

Pennyworth has been campy but quite watchable for me, I look forward to another season. I find the name “addition” silly but I get that they must have some market research showing the need a more directly obvious Batman tie-in/draw.
