I had a 2014 Compass as a company car. The engine had enough power. But after 6 months developed a growling whining noise. “normal”. The CVT would have been better than the 6 speed. It hunted for gears all day long. Like another poster, I managed to override it into manual mode, and it was much better.

The Scion iM, soon to be Corolla iM, is the Auris the world knows. Suss6052 points out the discontinued Venza. There is also the Prius V. They make wagons. Performance, maybe not so much, but they do make wagons.

My yard. I have to mow the lawn. I at least have a riding lawn mower, and it still takes several hours. I need to spice it up for this weekend, so I’m going to carry some sparklers while I mow and do it 4th of July style.
