The Wavebird has an adapter just to use it with the gamecube (which can be used with this hub). You have to use an adapter eitherway.

It’s hard to track stick owners on steam. A lot of stick owners will build their own or use a device like the Hori which just gets read as an XInput device with no distinguishing factors.
