I am saying it's not. I think this is where that stereotype partially came from.
I know. I have a 225 coupe as one of my daily drivers. It's still one of my favorite cars.
When was that taken? I don't recall having seen too many 356's with two wing mirrors.
Edit on previous comment failed, so here is my new nomination. Ferrari 250 GTO Series 1. Simply the greatest. 1:40 to 1:50 is the best part.
And this. Simply can't beat an F40.
Ferrari 250 GTO. Still the greatest after all these years.
It's just a response to new regulations. Every car must weigh 4000 lbs. and be powered by a 600 cc scooter engine. It's meant to encourage passing.
Nice try. We all know it's just a computer simulation.
Chauncysmart?
I don't think a BMW would look this good doing this. Watch the full video, it's worth it.
Not as bad as you think. That's a custom body on a (I think) 150 chassis with an AMG drivetrain.
7 Speed, actually. And, if you ever drove a PDK, you would know how great it its.
Thank you Youtube for the "1/4 Speed" button. I never found it more useful than right now.
Sorry, I meant to post this picture ( [image.motortrend.com] ) of the XJ13, due to its resemblance to the E-Type. I definitely agree with your idea, though. I would love to see a mid-engined E-Type.
Maybe a modern iteration of the Mini Marcos GT, produced by Tatra.
