Based on the lead comment on this story, it’s probably forged carbon infused with surgical stainless steel that was supposed to be used for medical equipment.  It’s a special process that requires hundreds of hospital ventilators to create the correct conditions for the stainless to bond to the carbon.

You also don’t NEED a car at all, or a house with more than one room, or more than one bathroom in that house, or the internet you were accessing to type your silly comment, of the device you used to do it. Someone with more money than you probably worked much harder than you and decided to buy himself a piece of art

Probably a tell that you shouldn’t be on Jalopnik making silly comments if you can’t figure that out.

Yeah, but that’s different because......um......well you know, the thing.

Pretty sad for you.

Exactly. Most of the guys paying “cash” for a $200k car are just telling their financial manager they need $200k for a car from dealer “X” and have no idea what is going on with the funds behind it. Case in point, a friend of mine just “paid cash” for a Taycan Turbo S, or at least he did as far as he is concerned.

Have to agree with what others have said.  Jalopnik is once again a must read on weekend.  Great job Elizabeth!

Probably one of the greatest, most honest emotional moments I’ve seen in sport. Not sure how anyone couldn’t be happy for the kid.

Or they expect their cars to run 1-2 in clean air and don’t even bother looking at a setup that works well in dirty air.   It has to be soul crushing for Bettas to set a track lap record in qualifying only to have Hamilton go out and beat it.

I doubt Kimi Raikkonen edited the video you are so critical of. You have no idea what he said, just that a final video just features him saying “I stand”. He mumbles and half of the world can’t understand what he says. Aside from that, I don’t think some drivers not kneeling is going to have an impact on racism

I know a LOT of people with $75-100k vehicles that honestly can’t afford them. Very little if any savings, living in an apartment, leasing the car and are literally one missed paycheck away from losing everything. Your priorities are in, at risk of offending someone I’m sure, in the right place. It’s just the

No. It was a serious question that apparently triggered you, but whatever.  Lighten up and enjoy life a little man.

That was good.  Very clever.

Curious to see an official track layout from the organizers.  There are several online, but nothing official that I’ve been able to find.  The only layout I’ve seen close to 1.5 miles definitely isn’t it because it doesn’t include any portion of the Nissan stadium lot.  Might be the same one you saw, because it is

Actually being dead serious.  What fighter jet does that look like?

Bwoah..........Kimi has sounded frustrated and disgusted with his team and himself forever. I think there are two documented cases of him smiling at a race and one of those barely qualified as a grin.

A 300M looked like a fighter jet??

Doesn’t matter if they are busy or empty, they are slow and the food always tastes like it’s been sitting around for a while.  Every single one I’ve visited.

No different than when Ducati basically built a bike to fit Casey Stoner’s riding style and no one else could ride it. Rossi tried, went back to Yamaha. It took Lorenzo two years to even get remotely comfortable on the Ducati, but plain and simple, it wasn’t a Yamaha and it didn’t suit his style. By the time he got

Marc and some of his battles with Fabio last year were pretty incredible.
