This comment might be better proof of Torch’s comment “everything is madness”. You walked out of a car showroom in 2021 over fake exhaust outlets.

Agree, but a similarly equipped XC60 is about $7k more than a loaded AWD Atlas and isn’t as roomy. If you want a 3rd row you have to bump up to an XC90 and similarly equipped you are at $70k.
Don’t spoil his fun. I’m on number 7 or 8 and outside of the Atlas needing a new catalytic converter, never any issues with any of them. Assuming you don’t count the TDI buyback. (I don’t).
As a fellow Atlas driver, I concur.........and I miss my old Touareg. The Atlas “replaced” the Touareg, it didn’t do it well.
Even at 39 stars, this comment is ridiculously under appreciated.
Agree. The A6 got bloated and boring.
Performance-ish. 265hp from a twin turbo V6 with the manual and this is a damn fun car to drive. Doesn’t have that wonderful rumble the 4.2L V8 had, but still a great driving car. I worked for Audi back in those days and had one of these for a while (same color w/ 6M) and hated to give it back.
Sold a company for $5B and has a massage parlor in his basement. Seems he likes happy endings.
under appreciated comment.
Well, let’s see. The “asshole” OWNS it, so he/she/they have the right to charge whatever the hell they want for it. If GM had kept the information, they would probably charge more or not even have it publicly available. If you don’t want to pay for the info on your Nova, don’t. You’ve clearly made it to this point…
Nailed it. A marketing company that made some OK motorcycles. The PG&A portion of their business is their strength. If the bikes were great, you wouldn’t see 80% of a Cycle Trader magazine full of low mileage bikes being sold at a $5k loss.
Or they could have just kept Buell alive and evolved that lineup.
You should have bought it. Just one of the best all around bikes you can own. The only thing I dislike about my GS-A is that my bladder can’t go as long as it takes to run through a tank of gas.
Six VWs and two Audis. Other than scheduled maintenance and wear items, all trouble free. I had a Honda Accord that was a complete piece of shit and an Acura that was bought back under the lemon law though. Which seems to be an accurate reflection of the chart above.
Pretty obvious it is a winter tire/wheel package on the test car. Required in Europe and typically one size smaller than stock. Really no point wasting money on a nicer winter wheel.
“That’s the issue I have. It was an unveiling of a far-from-production concept coupled with some aspirational specs for a car that is at best 2 years from production.”
Uh..... the race this year was a sell out. 2018 attendance was 111,000, which was up 17,000 over 2017. That would be a pretty solid indicator that sales are actually going UP, not down. I wonder if they bulldozed any cacti when they built COTA..........
That applies at night, not in the day. The state Motorcycle Handbook even recommends running high beams at all times during daylight. So that pretty much blows your theory about motorcycles causing unpredictable driving in cars......which was a pretty stupid theory to begin with.
Yeah, 12mpg is disgusting. You don’t reach respectable until you hit 13mpg.
I see three possibilities here. First, and most likely, it’s simply because it is a 1995 Toyota Previa Alltrac in not-great shape. Second, everyone lies about fuel economy (former owner), so your expectations were founded on lies. Third, you are comparing his 24mpg highway claim with your 11.667mpg city (really…
