Yep.  My understanding is they have CUV/SUV/Whatever they are officially called now coming.  The G70 is a damn nice car, but Americans apparently are starting to dislike sedans as much as hatchbacks. 

Buyers will discover the Kia Niro, then continue to buy something other than the Kia Niro.  

I don’t think the G70 will be as much of a flop as the Stinger, but yeah.....don’t see the manual being on the option list very long.  Not sure if they just aren’t available yet or not, but not a single one listed on AutoTrader.
