You aren’t carrying many firefighters or gear on a small platform SxS.  But who really cares, Honda is trying out some new ideas to move ATVs as the market shrinks, good for them.

ATV platform dedicated to carrying gear can go places a SxS with people and gear can’t due to size (clearly not the case in the Honda video mind you).

Excellent point!!!

I’d consider moving back up north if I had one of those.

Exactly, key is the firefighters aren’t carrying chain saws, fuel cans, water and other tools on their backs.  Huge benefit.

Not as much fun though.

Ducati nor VW are struggling.  The purchase never made sense and still doesn’t, it was just something to satisfy Piech’s ego.

Seems like the smart way to build the empire. BMW invested a fortune in Husqvarna products before selling it. Audi/VW has done the same with Ducati. Let the rich German companies invest in new technology, then pick up the pieces. More interesting, almost half of the MotoGP field in 2019 would be under KTM

A star just for saying “walk face first into a door of dicks”.

Get rid of the bag, and it’s not.  Although if you are shipping your 911 around the world for various vacation, I guess it looks better than one of those big plastic torpedo looking things people strap to the top of their SUVs.

Seems like the entire article is about both sides being guilty.

You really don’t have to try too hard to come up with a long list of derogatory terms for Hitler, but good for you for making that extra effort.  Might as well just call you Avis.....

Yeah.....but seriously, who really cares?  You think it’s going to change a Cadillac buyers mind if it’s a CUV instead of an SUV?   Don't get me wrong, kudos to you for knowing the difference, probably comes in handy at trivia night at the local sports bar........but most people, even car people, just don't care.

Why? The average owner/driver of or person shopping for or selling said vehicles doesn’t know the difference or give a rats ass.

I only care about one!

Chatt. is already working on Atlas Cross Sport pilot builds. Hard to imagine the Tanoak truck not following too far behind and they are already talking about adding an electric vehicle.  So yeah, Passat is on borrowed time.

No scoffing here. I miss my 2014 TDI manual. I just couldn’t say no to the check VW offered on the buyback. But damn I miss that car!

Agree. Damn good looking car that should be selling much better than just about anything else on that list.

Yep, this is one of the few times VW got it right in the U.S. market.  Now if we could just get that damn Golf R wagon with a manual..........

Add volume to your counterpoint and it’s kinda of counterpointless.
