He doesn’t look anything like Allen, but he looks almost exactly like his grandfather

He’s 29 now, but yes, he is Doogie Howser. He graduated from Bard College at the age of 15 then started at Yale law school at 16. He’s member of the New York Bar. He had already done a stint at the State Department before he started a career in journalism. His resume is pretty insane.

This is going to get buried in the inevitable torrent of replies to this (great) question. There’s already 74 answers and no one’s invoked Elvis Costello’s “Less Than Zero/Radio Radio” stunt on SNL, much less the twin Tom Snyder performances: an Almost Blue-tinged version of “Watch Your Step” and an uptempo “New Lace

Several come to mind, especially if you count ones I’ve seen on tape (like the Beatles on Ed Sullivan), and a few that no one else would remember (like Tom Waits on the Daily Show). The one that truly stands out, though, is Warren Zevon’s last live performances on Letterman. The man was dying and his voice was weak,

God. The fact that nobody selected “Where did you sleep last night” from Nirvana’s unplugged special is criminal.

This is going to sound painfully earnest and sentimental, but the performance that sticks with me the most is Paul Simon’s singing of “The Boxer” on the first post 9/11 episode of SNL. Everything that I could say about that day and the days that followed has been better said already. Suffice it to say, it was just a

Fishburne is always on my shortlist to portray the near omnipotent godlike Marvel characters— Galactus, Uatu, the High Evolutionary, The Kree Supreme Intelligence (that voice would fit Darkseid as well).

If you want Cowboy Curtis to join the MCU, SCREAM REAL LOUD!!!

Regardless of the snark, here is an (incomplete) list of MCU movie characters who have shown romantic/sexual interest in the opposite sex on screen:

Steve Rogers
Thor
Bruce Banner
Peter Quill
Peter Parker

Well...I like your nick ‘Sassyfeminist’, so I’m surprised that you count Jess as a ‘good boyfriend’. He changed and became a good man, of course, but the scene of him coercing Rory into sex and then yelling at her, still haunts me to this day. Can’t believe that was aired! Also, that girls were taught that it’s OK, as

I didn’t know he could actually sing. Complete with the change of register in the upper tenor.

At a site that (generally) recognizes the terrible awfulness of the Nice Guy TM, it’s odd to me that we’re supposed to ship Rory and Marty just because he’s “nice” (even though we know now that he’s not particularly nice). He’s a friend and that’s OK.

Scariest post I’ve seen this Halloween.

I’m guessing Gilly: The College Years was cancelled around that same time?

Yeah I wouldn’t give up Seth Cohen for any character tbh. I loved that character way too much. But I really did want Lane to end up with Dave. They were just SO perfect.

Yeah I definitely understand why people compare him favorably to Logan and the LADB, but Marty was always just a mopey walking nothing to me.

They don’t. They’re just there at Yale to pull weird pranks that they bribe the administation to get away with, also they ARE enrolled and pay full tuition, but only because they can — it’s paid on a whim. They don’t need knowledge; they’re rich.

Rory standing up to Chris is hands down my favourite Rory moment (to be fair there aren’t many to choose from). It’s one of the few times you see her caring about Lorelai’s happiness a lot more than any desire she might have to see her family reunited. She knows Chris is toxic garbage and pretty much tells him as
