What happens on April 5th?

I thought that March 29 was the date where the UK left the EU, unless the EU decided to extend that - did that happen? Or is this April 5th some other deadline?

I’ve been trying to keep up with the news but there’s so much going on that I’m not familiar with that it’s hard to keep track of all

Were the jeans under the trousers or the trousers under the jeans?

No. The ideal tax situation is that which creates the best value for the taxpayer, and value and money are not the same thing.

Yep. There’s a lot of good info that also applies to cars in “The Bicycle Wheel” by Jobst Brandt. Looks like there’s no e-book edition, but there’d PDFs floating around out there and inter-library loan hopefully should be able to track down a copy.

Don’t you usually stick with Twitter, Donnie?

How the hell do these people know what leather tastes like?

My 1996 850 Turbo used to do the same thing. It would push me forward into the wheel as it moved the seatbottom and the seatback together if I tried to use one of the presets.

Nah, I can see a hell of a lot more than just eyes.

Nothing too exciting. It was a steep drainage ditch. About three to four feet deep and steep enough that in the poor lighting you couldn’t see the sides. I sat there shocked for a moment, then noticed the green in front of my windshield, illuminated by my headlights, and figured out what I’d done.

Today I’d probably

Once at night I turned off a poorly-lit rural road onto what I thought was a dark-black freshly paved strip of pavement leading into a parking lot. It was just a big hole.

Por que no las dos?

It’s mostly battery in there. It would be pretty easy to make a smaller phone with a smaller battery and not have to do too much to make the rest of the stuff fit, just rearrange it on a different PCB. Or not depending on what they have now.

Most of the pizza places around here have the pizza out on display at the end of a counter. You pick what you want and they stick your slices in the oven. You then continue down the counter to a cashier and tell them what you ordered.
Then in a few minutes the oven guy pulls your slices out, calls it out, and you pick

Cabin configuration is up to the airline - it’s not dependent on the aircraft. Seats are on rails and the operator can pick any seat spacing (pitch) they want.

I don’t eat wild mushrooms, and I don’t eat ‘locally harvested wild mushrooms’ or anything similar I find on a restaurant menu. I don’t trust myself or some busboy a resturant owner sent off into the woods not to make a mistake and pick the wrong mushroom, especially when deadly species look so close to edible species

Cool take, Comrade

It’s surprising how little it costs to get a private charter flight. If you’ve got a bigger group and you’re not buying economy tickets, it can actually come out less than commercial sometimes.

My wife’s car has an underneath oil filter. I pump the oil out first, then jack it up and change the filter. It doesn’t make as much of a time difference as on my own car, where I can pump oil out of the dipstick tube and change the filter from up top without having to lift it. At least I don’t have to worry about the
