I paid my way through college myself first going to junior college and then transferring. I was the first in my family to graduate college and in no way had a pampers life lol. We were literally on food stamps. This is a completely ridiculous generalization.

The thing to keep in mind is that a very large portion of the enlisted community also have university educations. Especially in the reserves.
