You know for sure it’s an evolution, because no part of this design is intelligent.
This just in: someone likes something i don’t. To the internet!
were reported to the police by Walmart (fucking Walmart) when they went to get the photos developed.
Well la-di-da, Professor Einstein can read everybody!
I completely agree. The risks of not being in a hospital are just too high. Most hospitals these days will let you have a midwife with you in the hospital and that seems like the best of both worlds to me.
While there are many advocates to using a midwife and giving birth at home or somewhere other than a hospital, I personally think it is a huge risk to not be in a hospital, at the very least for your first birth. My wife had no complications throughout her entire pregnancy and was not considered high risk. However,…
As someone who recently finished a one month rotation at a teaching hospital for OB, I have to strongly disagree with many of the author’s assertions. I think the assumption that most physicians practice in the manner in which the author describes are inaccurate and I question what evidence the author had in making…

I think the one point you’re missing here is the cumulative nature of the smaller ‘micro-traumas’ of younger (read: under-developed) kids heading the ball. You’re focused on the ‘first concussion’, but that’s really the incorrect focus. One of the good things to come out of the NFL’s concussion research are grants for…
I do not have time to fully respond to this at this moment but this is a real shame. I have looked at a prior JAMA study (on middle school girls soccer players) with sports docs and athletic trainers (one is one of the leading sports docs in the country). From those conversations and my own lay-review of that and…
