"I'm gonna whip that little bitch in the face!"
Watched the first two episodes; interesting that Noah is a complete dick in every version of the story but his own. I've sort of taken up the notion that these multiple perspectives aren't strictly how people are viewing them, but what they wanted to see. Everyone is openly lying to themselves. At least, it's how I…
People with nothing to say probably shouldn't be telling stories. But boy, was all that unrelated imagery purty.
Holy fuck, I'm at work and can't open the video, but that cast and director… Absolutely stacked.
She fucked that hamster to the top of Hollywood. (The wife she plays there seems pretty happy and well-supplied with tacos)
What the fuck is even happening on this show? Why do I watch it? Why are we even here?
I don't know if there's a hard or fast rule, but typically the "with" and "and" credits go to the big name actor who's in a supporting role. I agree it's weird how high Wiig was. Who got second billing? Chastain or Daniels?
The first five episodes of the season are currently this show's peak. I'm not confident that will change.
I'm very quick to call bullshit on this show when it's warranted, but that scene, I was OK with. He's by himself, not completely impervious to the swarm of guns around him, Setrakian has his cane, and Eichorst himself can't touch the Lumen. Plus, it leads to that cool shot of a horde of vamps bursting out of the…
You think so? I honestly thought Ejiofor was the standout. If anybody was going to get the "and" credit I thought it would be him. I suppose the premise of the film leaves Damon handicapped, while everybody else got to play off each other bit by bit. Daniels was pretty great, too.
The Martian was surprisingly funny, well-shot, Kristen Wiig gets hit in the head… It was my kind of flick.
In fairness, Burditt left the show in its first season to return to 30 Rock. He was in and out.
The King of Queens. We are creeping up on it being ten years since the finale.
Sounds like a sitcommy version of Eastbound & Down.
I couldn't imagine any sane person actually finding something offensive about it; it's one of two fairly inspired bits in the special by Anjelah Johnson standards.
Did that TBS sitcom, Your Family Or Mine, get cancelled, or was he just a recurring? It was a new-ish project you'd think he'd want to promote.
Comedy Central waited waaaaaaay too long to stop kneejerk-cancelling stuff.
He left the burning cancerAIDS building that is Community, and with it, he torched whatever good will there was with the commentariat.
Goddamnit.
tl;dr version: Top tier comediennes/movie stars like Fey and Schumer don't want to do it; TV stars/C-listers like Cho are open to the idea. Wow, who saw that coming?
