I’m sorry... did I miss a Enes Kanter trade rumor? Where is it being reported that anyone (even a team as badly run as the Kings) wants Enes Kanter on their team?
Famously abstinent former college football star
I didn’t realize that that Derek Carr’s nickname was “Our System”
This is an indictment of the QB moreso than the current Coach / GM. By the time they turn this team around they’d need to re-sign him (though maybe at a depressed price considering its obviously the QB’s fault at this point)
My wife insists on basically never using the dishwasher and it baffles me. I have made having a dishwasher a pre-requisite for any apartment I’ve had since the one year in law school that I didn’t have one causing me and my roommates to basically live in a disaster area (nobody wants to clean anyone else’s dishes)
I can’t wait to watch a game when Lebron takes a rest. The rest of the Lakers cast (replacing Lebron with a league average player) is pretty much a 25 win team. They’re going to be at least a 5th seed in the West solely bc of Lebron
What about Mario Herzadjona?! Or was he too butt to even be worth mentioning.
Frank Ntilikina is a great defender. Only half his game is currently butt. He also just turned 20 this July, and if he can get himself a three point shot will be a valuable 3-D player. I refuse to let up the optimism despite the fact I’m definitely wrong because he’s on the Knicks.
It’s times like these where I look at the Knicks record and think... Right on Track!
He actually almost intercepted it. It literally hit him in the hands and funchess ran into him basically.
Thank you.... using Barkley this way really is the only way to somewhat justify having him be the #2 overall pick. If he’s a RB / WR, then it’s a bit better than just taking a good RB with the #2 pick. He’s a top paid RB, but not really that highly paid of a WR.
No mention of Elizabeth Warren’s proposal? I mean, her proposal won’t get any votes or anything, but US democrats are pushing for codetermination as well... just wanted to give you a heads up
The reason its urgent is because the Knicks front office doesn’t know what they’re doing most of the time. So if something doesn’t make sense to you (like signing Noah to a 4 year 72.5m contract in the first place) it’s because Knicks.
Elliott’s deal is NOT low-cost for a RB. Maybe the Gurley contract shows that he could get more in FA,, and thus, below-market, but it’s nothing like Dak vs. the avg. QB market. Elliot is a top paid RB
Probably behind Gardner as well with those numbers.
Free market systems are about allocation of resources. A true free market system should reward those that earn those resources. Socialism has a government determine where to allocate resources, which generally does not go well. There are many countries where socializing a large parts of the government has not gone…
My favorite actual baseball “walk-up song” is Andrew Miller coming out to “Gods Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash. Because it’s a bullpen walk-out song you basically get to hear the whole thing. Lyrically on point, awesome beat to get amped up to, and just a great song in general.
The really sad part is that Giants fans have both: (1) talked themselves into this being a potential Super Bowl team, and (2) think Davis Webb is likely the next Tom Brady.
Sure... they didn’t want to pay the US top-up tax on their earnings and so waited until tax repatriation holidays (ala Bush and latest round of reform) before bringing it back and paying US tax.
