Great car. Love the styling, as I did back when they were new! GAWD I hate their reviews though. SO annoying that I could only get through about half of it.

Well, it’s certainly better looking than the Prius, but... damn it’s ugly.

Actually, that first generation car was indeed sold in the US (VERY small numbers) as the Merkur Scorpio. I always loved the styling of them!

Finally the real Patrol comes to the US market! I wish they’d have dumped the Armada name, but Patrol certainly does outside of the US!

I know this post is going to end up being a sh*t-show on the EPA, but let’s take a 30,000 foot view here... CA CARB and EPA cleaned up the air, eliminated lead from passenger fuel and was actually pretty good for us all on the performance side. Without it, we’d be driving 12mpg carburetors... maybe just maybe this…
