1. C7 Grand Sports and Z06s, when equipped with Z07 package (Carbon Ceramic Brakes), have 15.6" front rotors. An 18" wheel will not clear the caliper with enough room for debris to bounce out of the wheel barrel and not damage either the wheel or the caliper. People use them for the track, but no manufacturer is going

It’s very possible to make wheels strong enough to not be bent/cracked when wrapped in low profile tires. Since the engineers knew the exact tires that would be installed on these wheels, there’s no excuse for them to not account for that.

No, a judge will “blue line” the agreement and this car will lose. Sorry, to most people this is a run-down car.

His truck looks like shit, HOA or not. I would not like to wake up and see this across my window every morning

as a guy who 1: Has 7 cars parked at his house, only one in the garage because the garage is full of Jalopkrap, AND 2: routinely parks his Camper on the driveway AND 3: is President of his HOA (yup, lol, that’s no lie and no mistake), I can tell you that we don’t have much drama in our neighborhood. I ain’t fining

The s65 motor is incredible. It’s a misconception that it was some big heavy unit - it’s actually lighter than the s54 from the e46. When revved, the intake noise is positively exotic — and it loves to rev.

Agreed. It’s not only the fact that his car was abused this way without his permission, but that when the owner provided clear evidence of wrongdoing, they blew smoke up his ass about “I don’t need to see more” (like they accept responsibility), but then ghosted the owner about any sort of action to remedy the

One of the dealership employees might even deliver your food...in your car. Cuz moonlighting

You mean 428 or 429?

Have you driven a stock MKIV? I’ve driven both NA and TT and thought they were great.

SS is there, I kinda forgot about it. What’s the technology package in them like?

I wouldnt mind a G8 GT other than finding a manual (GXP) is damn near impossible, and that they’re not getting any newer, unfortunately.

Am I the only one that things the Challenger is fucking terrible looking? Its way to bloated and huge. The worst aspect being its absolutely massive featureless slab sides.

Only until Accords start blowing your doors off. Then you’ll curse the day you thought 375 hp was enough for 4,400-pound car with a 3:07 rear end. . .
If I had it to do over again (and the build quality justified it), I’d go 392 all the way.

When I leased my 2016 Camaro, I test drove the Challenger and was pretty close to getting one, especially because they were offering a killer deal when all of the Chevy dealers were taking crazy pills due to the Camaro being new at the time.

I feel like out of the 3, the Camaro is the true track car, the Challenger the Grand Tourer, and the Mustang is right in between the 2. (I may be a bit biased, since I worked on the Mustang team) I feel like that’s why Mustang and Challenger do so well vs Camaro right now. Most people really want a sporty Grand Tourer

Yes but was mainly looking for 4-doors (hence all the sedan comparisons). I like larger cars for daily use as they are more practical.

Just curious, but did you look at the Mustang? There are plenty V8 versions around that $36k mark. Granted, most wont have the Sync 3 screen, instead a 4" crappy screen, but still there. Mustang’s power is less, but also has less weight and I’m fairly confident that the 0-60 is a wash anyways.

I was in a similar search about 3 months ago. The lure of the challenger almost got me. Really outstanding value. Ultimately ended up with a CTS-V sedan. Needed a manual, and the 4 doors made the most sense. Plus you don’t see CTS-Vs in every other parking lot.

I was in the market to buy a performance oriented daily driver (before I bought my current house) and I really didnt find anything with as much value as the Charger/Challenger.

My wife and I are in the process of researching my next car - down to a GTI/R, Challenger, Charger, or Mustang GT. For some reason the Challenger we sat in at the car show had a protrusion in the transmission well on the passenger side that pinches the left passenger’s foot well space. Was not present in the Charger.
